Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how StrateSpace, we, us, and our handle information in connection with StrateSpace.io and the StrateSpace service. StrateSpace is still finalizing its legal business entity, and this policy will be updated when that entity is established.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use StrateSpace, we may process your name, email address, account or user identifiers, authentication and session information, workspace membership, roles and permissions, preferences, subscription or account status, communications, support requests, device and browser information, usage and activity information, referral information, website analytics, and product analytics. We do not view users’ passwords. Customers may also upload, create, import, or manage private workspace content such as Amazon listing information, product images, PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, titles, bullet points, descriptions, keywords, research, compliance materials, assets, tasks, approvals, files, team activity, and other business information. Workspaces and customer content are private by default and available only to authorized users unless a customer deliberately shares them.
How Information Is Used
We use information as reasonably necessary to provide and operate StrateSpace, authenticate users, maintain workspaces, provide collaboration features, communicate with users, provide customer support, secure the service, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain audit records, improve StrateSpace, analyze usage, and comply with legal obligations. StrateSpace supports connections to Amazon services, including Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API), for supported features such as importing Amazon product-listing information and displaying Amazon content within a customer’s workspace. Customers authorize supported Amazon connections through Amazon’s authorization process; StrateSpace does not ask customers to provide their Amazon Seller Central passwords directly. Disconnecting an Amazon connection should stop new activity through that connection, but does not automatically delete information previously imported into or created within a StrateSpace workspace.
Cookies and Analytics
StrateSpace uses essential cookies or similar technologies as reasonably necessary for authentication, security, sessions, and core service functionality. StrateSpace also uses Framer’s native website analytics for the public StrateSpace website to understand information such as site traffic, page views, referral sources, general geographic information, device information, and usage patterns. StrateSpace does not currently use separately installed third-party advertising pixels or remarketing trackers on the public website. If StrateSpace introduces additional analytics, advertising, or marketing technologies in the future, this Privacy Policy and any applicable consent mechanisms will be updated as appropriate.
Sharing and Service Providers
StrateSpace uses service providers to operate and support the service. Supabase provides authentication, database, storage, and related backend infrastructure. Stripe processes subscription payments and provides related billing and payment services. StrateSpace also integrates with Amazon services, including Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API), when a customer chooses to connect a supported Amazon seller account. Through that connection, StrateSpace may receive and process Amazon seller and product-listing information authorized by the customer and permitted by the applicable Amazon permissions in order to provide connected features such as product import and Amazon content preview. StrateSpace may also use other trusted service providers for hosting, infrastructure, email, security, customer support, analytics, and other functions reasonably necessary to operate the service. These providers may process information as reasonably necessary to provide their services to StrateSpace. StrateSpace does not sell customers’ personal information or private workspace content.
Data Retention and Security
Private customer workspace content is treated as confidential. Authorized StrateSpace personnel may access limited information only when reasonably necessary for support, security, fraud or abuse investigations, maintenance, troubleshooting, or legal obligations, and access is limited to what is reasonably necessary. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is absolutely secure. We intend to support multi-factor authentication in the future, but it is not currently represented as implemented. We will investigate suspected security incidents, take reasonable containment and remediation steps, and notify affected users or authorities when required by applicable law.
Data Retention
We retain personal information and customer workspace data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and operate StrateSpace, maintain customer accounts and workspaces, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and meet legitimate legal, billing, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution requirements. Expiration or cancellation of a trial or paid subscription may restrict access to StrateSpace but does not necessarily result in immediate deletion of workspace data. Customers may use StrateSpace’s account deletion process to request deletion of their account and eligible associated data. Certain information may be retained for longer where reasonably necessary or legally required, and information may temporarily remain in secure backups until normal backup retention cycles expire.
Legal Requests
StrateSpace does not voluntarily disclose private customer workspace information merely because a third party asks. We may disclose information when reasonably required by valid legal process or applicable law and may notify an affected customer where legally permitted and appropriate.
AI Processing
StrateSpace intends to provide AI-assisted functionality for product-content work, including product titles, bullet points, descriptions, keywords, A+ content suggestions, compliance-related suggestions, and content review. These features are planned or in development unless and until implemented. Private customer workspace content will not be used to train general-purpose AI models without the customer’s explicit permission. When a customer deliberately invokes an AI feature, relevant information may be processed by an AI service provider as reasonably necessary to provide that requested feature. No AI provider has yet been selected, and this policy will be updated as appropriate when specific providers are implemented.
Email Communications
Essential or service communications may include account verification, password resets, security notices, billing or subscription notices, important service communications, team invitations, approval notifications, task notifications, due-date notifications, support communications, and future Amazon publishing status notifications. Optional marketing communications may include product news, features, tips, promotions, and newsletters. Users may unsubscribe from optional marketing communications where applicable, while essential service or account communications may still be sent when necessary to operate the service.
Payments
StrateSpace offers paid subscriptions and uses Stripe to process subscription payments. Payment information, including payment-card information, is submitted to and processed by Stripe rather than directly stored by StrateSpace. StrateSpace may receive and maintain payment- and subscription-related information from Stripe, such as customer identifiers, subscription plan and status, billing status, payment status, subscription dates, and limited payment-method information, as reasonably necessary to administer subscriptions, provide access to the service, handle billing issues, prevent fraud or abuse, and maintain appropriate business and accounting records. Stripe’s processing of personal information is governed by its applicable privacy terms and policies.
Planned Amazon Publishing
Future Amazon publishing functionality is intended to require human approval and final explicit publishing confirmation. Suggested, drafted, AI-assisted, or other customer-authorized content changes will not automatically publish to Amazon. The intended workflow is for content to be prepared or suggested within StrateSpace, reviewed by a user or team as appropriate, approved, and then explicitly confirmed for publishing to Amazon.
Account and Workspace Deletion
StrateSpace provides an explicit account deletion process. Following a confirmed account deletion request, StrateSpace removes the user’s account and associated customer content from active production systems where appropriate. Deletion of an entire shared workspace may require appropriate owner or administrator authorization and may not occur when the workspace or its content must remain available to other authorized members. Certain information may also be retained where reasonably necessary for legal, billing, tax, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate compliance purposes. Information may temporarily remain in secure backups until normal backup retention cycles expire.
Data Export
StrateSpace intends to provide reasonable ways for customers to export or download relevant workspace data, including product content, listing information, tasks, approvals and history, files where applicable, and other customer-created information.
International Users and Data Transfers
StrateSpace may serve international customers. Information may be processed or stored in countries where StrateSpace and its service providers operate. Where applicable, appropriate safeguards should be used as required by law.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where a user lives and subject to applicable law, they may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, data portability, objection or restriction, and consent choices. Privacy requests may be sent to hello@stratespace.io. StrateSpace may reasonably verify identity or authority before fulfilling sensitive requests. For organizational workspaces, personal account information may be distinguished from business or workspace information controlled by the customer organization.
Children and Age Requirement
StrateSpace is intended for adults and business users. Users must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction if higher.
Policy Changes
StrateSpace may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves. Material changes may be communicated through reasonable methods such as email, an in-app notice, or a prominent website notice.
